Kabinart cabinets are an all
wood framed set of stock cabinets. The cabinets come in Cherry, Maple, Oak
and Thermofoil. The
construction is all plywood, 3/8" ends, kick and rails, 5/32" back panel, 3/4" front frame and 3/4"
shelves. About half the lines come with dovetail drawers and the other half with box drawers,
both with epoxy guides which can all be upgraded
to dovetail drawers with a Blum Tandem full extension guide (a very nice guide).
Kabinart has a limited selection of styles,
stains and glazes, but for the price they represent an excellent value. Their line of cherry
cabinets are priced similar to cabinets made from oak. Kabinart's selection of moldings, flutes
and other decorative
items, as well as their ability to customize the cabinets are limited. Kabinart cabinets come
with a 10 year limited warranty.
