Countertops are what tie together the cabinets with the
rest of the kitchen. Whereas cabinets are typically a solid color countertops
have a pattern. Where cabinets are different pieces attached together, countertops
provide a smooth continuous surface. Countertops also take the brunt of the abuse
your kitchen will endure over the years and needs to be tough yet resilient. Countertops
come in three basic varieties: laminate, solid surface and stone. In this class
we are going to go over all the major
components of the different types of countertops, what they all mean and how they
affect the price you pay. This section is broken up
into the following 5 lessons.
